Damian Norman heads up Excel London's Immersive Entertainment & Live Events division and is responsible for bringing some of the venue's highest profile entertainment events including Formula E, Disney 100: The Exhibition and The Formula 1 Exhibition. After earning a degree in International Business & Marketing, he entered the trade exhibition world, moving into consumer events with DMG World Media in 2003. He rose to Group Show Director and launched VOS Media in 2008, creating events like the London Bike Show. Damian sold VOS media to The Telegraph in 2013, joined the Senior Leadership Team as MD and expanded their event portfolio from five to 60 in four years. He founded Live Mind Consultancy and joined ExCeL permanently in 2019 after leading the venue's bid to host Formula E. He has since spearheaded numerous immersive projects and in 2024 launched Immerse LDN, London's first Immersive Entertainment District attracting over 1 million visitors since its inception. Damian lives in Twickenham, supports Chelsea FC, plays golf and serves on the advisory board of youth charity Snow Camp.
