As Group Security Director, the NEC Group, Henry is responsible for defining and implementing the venue and campus security strategy, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to keep the venue and wider estate safe and secure.

He is also the Chair of the South Newham Community Security Zone, Chair of the AEV Security focus group and most recently, the Chair for the Event Sector CTBIE  group as well as one of the Event sector leads for the National Counter Terrorism Security Office Business Information Exchange (CTBIE).

Henry also chaired the Joint Security Working Group for NHS Nightingale London during the pandemic, gaining valuable experience in creating Covid safe environments and working alongside government and emergency service stakeholders.

Prior to joining The NEC Group, Henry was Head of Security Strategy and Resilience at Excel London and Security Manager at Canary Wharf Group. Before that, he served in HM Armed Forces with the Royal Anglian Regiment completing several operational tours and many overseas exercises.
