Trevor Speed has worked in the Facilities Services industry for over 30 years specialising in Soft Services i.e. cleaning & waste, ground maintenance, logistics and CSR. Prestigious clients have included the Victoria & Albert Museum, Buckingham Palace, KPMG, ABN-AMRO before moving on to ExCeL Exhibition Centre and currently The O2 Arena. As Head of Support Services Trevor heads up the Waste & Sustainability programme as part of the global AEG 1Earth project and The O2 have achieved the Green Tourism Gold Standard Award four times before withdrawing from the scheme to concentrate on upgrading the waste compound in preparation for the shopping outlet opening in 2018. He is currently working on a new project to reduce site waste collection and reinvest saved hours into a robust segregation programme.
